Lead the futureof workforce education.
The Workforce Deans Academy is a cohort-based leadership program for aspiring and newer workforce leaders across Washington's community and technical colleges — building the practical skills, statewide network, and equity-minded leadership needed to advance student outcomes.

Dates for the additional virtual sessions and the spring in-person session will be announced by the start of the Academy.
What's included
- Facilitated virtual and in-person learning with experienced workforce leaders
- Ongoing peer connection and a statewide cohort network, with new mentoring opportunities in development this year
- Academy materials, lodging for overnight sessions, breakfast and lunch
$2,500 participant fee, plus travel and release time, are the sponsoring college's responsibility.
To apply
- Currently employed at a Washington community or technical college, in a role supporting or transitioning toward workforce or professional/technical education
- Completed WDA application and current CV or resume
- Supervisor recommendation form — submitted by your supervisor
